Mark Welton
In 1988, Mark Welton graduated Bob Jones University with his Bachelors in Business Administration. He continued on to Regent University where he gained his Juris Doctorate of Law. He married Molly Smartt in 1993, and they had three children in the following years. He practiced law for a year, gaining experience, before deciding to start his own firm. He's been practicing in Crestview from his own firm since 1994.
His competency in the legal realm is represented by his success throughout those years as well as the testimony of his clients. He is trustworthy and honest, striving to serve his clientele to the utmost of his abilities. He never ceases to find new adventures in and outside the legal realm, from getting his private pilot’s license to racing gokarts, farming, and riding a one wheel. You will often find him on a one wheel at his farm with his grandson not far behind him on the mini version of the same. Mark And Molly have been blessed with two grandchildren. Mark also greatly enjoys traveling. He has been to over twenty different countries and prioritizes evangelism internationally.
Paul Bailey
Paul Bailey graduated Pensacola Christian College with his Bachelors of Science in Pre-Law and continued on to Regent University where he earned his Juris Doctorate of Law. He gained experience in the legal field through various endeavors, including clerking for Chief Judge Shepherd of the Third District Court of Appeals and interning with the American Center for Law and Justice. He and his wife Jaime were married in 2014 and have three sons.
After his clerkship in Miami, Paul Bailey began practicing law full time at Welton Law Firm in Crestview, Florida as an associate attorney. Now, Paul Bailey continues his legal practice as an owner/shareholder at Welton Law Firm, engaging in “general practice” to include multiple areas of law such as appellate litigation, civil litigation, real property law, family law, business law, criminal defense, domestic injunctions, probate, guardianships, and estate planning. Paul Bailey has over ten years of legal experience and is licensed to practice law in Florida and in federal court for the Northern District of Florida.
In addition to his legal practice, Paul Bailey is also heavily engaged in higher education for the State of Florida. Paul Bailey has been an adjunct professor at Pensacola Christian College since 2020, teaching classes such as criminal law and moot court. Additionally, on January 6, 2025, Governor Ron Desantis appointed Paul Bailey to the Board of Trustees for the University of West Florida. Finally, Paul Bailey also holds a certification as a firearms instructor from the National Rifle Association and not only teaches the safe use of firearms, but has a strong interest in Second Amendment advocacy.
Amy Welton Gaither
Amy graduated from Pensacola Christian College with her Bachelors in Science in May of 2017 and continued on to Regent University’s School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate of Law. She was granted an award for being a Community Changer, and we thoroughly agree. Since her return from law school as a practicing attorney, she has used her previous experience here as a paralegal to excel with her clients and manage her cases efficiently.
She grew up in the office family as one of Mark Welton's daughters and is enjoying working at Welton Law Firm with a drive to extend the family legacy. She serves her clients with the utmost integrity and fairness and is building on her experience in the field of law. She currently enjoys serving clients in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianships, real estate, and business law.
